Horseback Riding
Horseback riding in Texas is almost mandatory and in Beaumont, we happen to have a few places where you can do just that. The Tyrrell Park Stables offer a unique horseback riding experience throughout the park. If you have your own horse, take a ride through the Big Thicket National Preserve on Big Sandy Creek Trail, an 9-mile horseback riding trail that lets you experience what is considered to be one of the most ecologically diverse places in the world.
The Tyrrell Park Stables gives visitors a chance to explore all that Tyrrell Park has to offer via horseback. The expansive park houses the Beaumont Botanical Gardens, Warren Loose Conservatory, the Henry Homberg Golf Course and Cattail Marsh Wetlands and Boardwalk. Horseback riding allows you a unique way to explore the whole park. You don't have to own your own horse to go riding, the stables provide the horses for both trail rides and lessons.
